Dr. David Tessier

Colorado Springs Disc Doctor David TessierDr. David Tessier is a United States Air Force Veteran, he completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aviation Management. After the Air Force he worked as an Aero Space Engineer for eleven years and earned his Master of Science in Industrial Management. Dr. Tessier has always been an athlete competing at many levels at many different sports including playing in the 1993 Softball Industrial World Series. While in the Air Force he started competing as an Armature Body Builder in California which led him to the study of the body. During his tenure as an Aero Space engineer, he sought care for a long-time football injury. After experiencing Chiropractic care he was so moved by his experience he decided to change direction with his career.

Dr. Tessier attended one of the most prestigious Chiropractic colleges in America, Southern California University of Health Sciences, school of Chiropractic, to pursue his chiropractic dream. While a student, Dr. Tessier was soon recognized as one of the class leaders and was elected to the student body council, was a paid neurology tutor as well as serving as president of several technique clubs such as the Applied Kinesiology (AK) club and Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) club. Before graduating Dr. Tessier had amassed an additional 300 hours of post graduate technique work. Dr. Tessier was acknowledged as a master technician with many of the most widely used adjusting techniques such as Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), Applied Kinesiology (AK) Certification, Flexion Distraction, and Extremity adjusting. Upon graduation he was asked if he would be interested in staying on and being a technique instructor. He declined and moved on to his home state of Colorado where he opened his own practice. His drive to be the best has resulted in him continuing to grow his experience in many different areas of Chiropractic.

After leaving Chiropractic college Dr. Tessier has continued to hone his skills as a doctor. He is one of 15 doctors worldwide, certified as a Master Technician in the Gravitational Pattern Alignment (GPA) technique, one of the most powerful techniques ever experienced by patients. Over 850 current and former NFL players as well as an assortment of other Professional athletes regularly receive this technique.

Prior to opening his recent Clinic Dr. Tessier served as the Vice President of four corporate Chiropractic Clinics in Colorado Springs, he was able to take the clinic he worked in to #8 in the nation out of 400 clinics. The Clinic was a walk-in clinic which means it is a first come first served clinic. Patients would wait as long as an hour to see Dr. Tessier even when other doctors were available. In his 4.5 years at the corporate clinics, he saw approximately 44,000 patients resulting is over 400,000 adjustments. His clinic today is filled with patients from that experience.

Dr. Tessier was raised as a U.S. Air Force dependent, his father being a 23-year veteran. Dr. Tessier has traveled the world and has lived in the Middle East as well as Europe. His family was once featured and labeled as a NATO family having siblings born in different countries including himself. He has been through just about every state in the U.S. as a dependent and while proudly serving 10 years in the U.S.A.F. Dr. Tessier is a father of 5 and loves being involved in his children’s sports and school. He returned to settle in his home state of Colorado 22 years ago and plans on someday retiring in Colorado.
